Vienna was very much like listening to a piece of music by Mozart. One wonders how a city, or in my case rather, a Chantry can be compared to a piece of music. However, with its tone and tempers, it is quite comparable. For instance, take Mozart's Requiem-the pieces he actually got the chance to finish, i mean-and then listen to it. Personally, my favorite segment is the Confutatis. This particular piece of music is extraordinary in that it is said to have more than seven layers to it in which the untrained mortal ear can only hear about four. The same rings true for our Chantry. The major notes are held above all. They speak of unity and strength and sacrifice for the clan as a whole in order to progress our agenda. However, listen more carefully and those subtle undercurrents whisper to the attentive, speaking of alternate agenda's and differing opinions on very nearly everything. Close your eyes and delve deeper and you would realize that not only are you now living life in the notes of D-minor, but you are helping to compose its newest segment.

Is it no wonder, then, that Vienna became the home of the Tremere? We create a perfect harmony, even when all of our layers are playing a different part of the same music that we cannot hear at the same time.
