Favorite things? I think not.
[A request made of us on
charloft . One that I could not acquiesce to, but find it necessary to reflect on]
What do I like, you ask? Ten things? Things that comfort me in my darkest hour, although every hour can be argued to be my darkest because of the nature of my so-called "predicament". That is most certainly ten too many to even list for one such as myself. Nothing I list would comfort you to know, nothing I say to ease your suspicions about my intentions arising from a list like mine would be true. But in truth-for now-I would have to vocalize that to have favorite things is to express a sentiment towards those things. An attachment. Something favored is something that is liked, loved even. And almost anything that is loved is an exploitable weakness by your enemies. Even the most seemingly harmless joys, upon closer examination, are not harmless at all, but tools in my arsenal that can be used to manipulate you, befriend you and, then, destroy you.
So with all due respect, which is not much admittedly, please forgive me if I choose to refrain from sharing my weaknesses with you, for that is really what the exercise drew out of so many of its all-to-obliging members, who should have listed that their favorite thing was too reveal too much about themselves.
Bisous,

[We were not sure whether we could actually post this on Charloft, so it appears as a personal revelation. Also, the mun wished not to confuse people by implying that she would use ooc knowledge against other muses. That, surely, would not be well seen and is not what we meant.]
